This policy explains how WhiskyPriceCheck.co.uk handles personal data. It will be kept up to date as the service develops, and the operating company's registered details will be added here before launch.

Data we collect

• Price alerts: the email address you give us, the whisky concerned, any target price, a record of your consent, and when the address was confirmed. An alert stays inactive until the address is confirmed by its owner, so nobody can sign up someone else.
• Site usage: aggregate, non-identifying measures such as page views, searches, comparisons and outbound retailer clicks.
• Enquiries: anything you send us when you get in touch.

How we use it

To send the price alerts you asked for, to understand which comparisons are useful, and to respond to you. We do not sell personal data and we do not build advertising profiles.

Your choices

• Every price-alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it.
• You can use the site without giving us any personal data at all.

Retention

Price-alert records are kept while the alert is active and removed after you unsubscribe. Aggregate usage data is kept in a form that does not identify you.
